It's going to be different because it's going to be more personal than anything else I will be writing.The first thing I have to do is make sure I understand what 'Asian American' means. Is it just one race? Or are there multiple races that are classified as Asian American? Once I understand the term 'Asian American,' the rest of the essay should flow easily.Next, I need to get my personal information down on paper and I need to add some personal information that tells readers something about myself. I may want to include some story of my life or even just personal hobbies. My essay is going to give me an example of me and my family. So I need to include some personal details. But it has to be short and sweet.Next, I need to decide how long my essay is going to be. Some college essays are shor ter and longer. In some instances, you can write a very long essay, and then break it up into short essays. This will be good for a college writing test. I usually look at different lengths for my essays.Now, I need to choose a topic for my college essay. That's really up to me. You can choose to write about 'Asian American History,' 'American Literature,' 'African American Literature,' 'Latin American Literature,' or 'World Literature.' What I have found works best is any topic where I can talk about me and my family. Then I will start writing. It is easy to read and compare sentences from other essays on the same topic, so this is a big advantage in terms of copy writing.The next most important part of a college essay is the writer's voice. Every time I have to write an essay I like to keep my voice in mind. When I am writing about myself, I like to try to say the truth as I see it. When I am writing about the topic, I like to say the exact opposite. I think most readers will thin k what I am writing is true, but they will find my opposite thought to be interesting and might want to read more about the topic.I really enjoy writing essays about Asian American students. I find them interesting because they are often the only ones who know that they are Asian American. It helps me build my self-confidence by showing others that I know exactly what I am talking about.
